Old interview from the New York Post with Susan Cernek, but still lovely to read..

Susan Cernek / SartorialistWe adore Susan Cernek's style -- and so does Scott Schumann, a.k.a The Sartorialist. Sorry we cribbed your picture (left), Scott. Susan's the senior fashion and beauty editor at Glamour.com and here are her smart-as-a-funny-whip answers to our fashion week questions we're asking everyone.LO: What do you order at Starbucks?SC: Grande iced coffee and rice crispies treat -- that winning combo often serves as breakfast and lunch...and sometimes dinner.LO: Pick one: Lauren, Heidi, Audrina, or Whitney.
SC: As a fellow brunette, I think I have to say Audrina. I think she's deeply misunderstood. I bet in that back guesthouse of hers it's all Proust, all the time.
LO: Who's the most famous person you've met? What did you say to each other?
SC: Scarlet Johansson. We sat next together at a dinner party so "Mmmm this salad is good," and "Please pass the salt," were among the pleasantries exchanged. And if I recall, the table chatter also included a conversation on the attractiveness of Canadian men. Johansson agreed that they were quite cute -- which makes sense in retrospect, as it was around the same time that she started dating Ryan Reynolds.
LO: What's your least favorite food?
SC: Tomatoes. My Italian grandmother is none too pleased.
LO: Any phobias?
SC: That one of those Con-Ed manhole covers will explode right in front of me one day.
LO: Do your feet hurt during fashion week? What do you do about it?
SC: Eat bananas (for the potassium, which helps blood flow).
LO: What handbag will you be using during fashion week?
SC: Anything that will fit 2 dozen invites, cosmetic kit, granola bars, 2 cameras, 2 phones, and a spare set of flats. Oh yes, and my house keys so I can get into my apartment and collapse at the end of the day.
